Sustainability Reports

Our Approach to Sustainability

The preparation and publication of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reporting is an approach implemented to establish organizational transparency toward stakeholders across the three dimensions of economic, social, and environmental sustainability, based on the international  GRI  standard. At MAPNA Boiler, this report is prepared for three-year periods and is publicly published on this page.

1403 Report

The third sustainability report of MAPNA Boiler Company, titled "Symphony of Sustainability," has been published. Over this three-year reporting cycle, MAPNA Boiler has successfully aligned its various components with sustainability principles. Reflecting a symphony, the harmony and coordination presented in this report demonstrate synchronized and aligned efforts toward achieving sustainable development goals. In this report, four chapters are framed as "Movements," inspired by the four movements of a symphony. This nomenclature effectively captures the spirit and philosophy of sustainability within MAPNA Boiler's three-year report. The first chapter or movement is titled "Corporate Profile and Sustainable Governance," the second movement "In Harmony with a Sustainable Economy," the third movement "In Tune with the Rhythm of Life," and the final movement "In Resonance with the Ecosystem."

The 1400 (2021–2022) Sustainability Report titled "Sustainability in Crisis" is the second Corporate Social Responsibility report of MAPNA Boiler and Equipment Engineering and Manufacturing Company, prepared in accordance with the GRI 2020 Standards at the Comprehensive level.

2018 Report

The 2018 Sustainability Report titled: "Value Creation for All: An Approach" is the first report by MAPNA Boiler and Equipment Engineering and Manufacturing Company in the field of corporate social responsibility, compiled in accordance with the GRI 2016 Standards at the Comprehensive level.

Sustainability Reporting Guidelines

The European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) became binding for European companies on January 5, 2023, and will soon apply to all companies operating within the EU value chain. Under this legislation, large and listed companies must regularly report on the social and environmental risks they face and disclose how their activities impact people and the environment. This helps investors, civil society organizations, consumers, and other stakeholders evaluate corporate sustainability performance within the framework of the European Green Deal. Building upon the previous Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD), this directive enhances transparency and accountability in sustainability reporting across the EU and addresses the limitations of the previous framework. Furthermore, it aims to shift business practices toward EU sustainability goals, steering the corporate sector toward a more responsible economy.
